I have never showered with them, but I always clean mine the night before a tournament, if the rim is slick I will also take acetone and wipe the inside of it because it cleans of the dirt and grime and gives it more tacky grip. I also wash mine after a muddy round.

I don't remember the last time I washed my discs. Waste of time.

About the closest I've come to this is to dunk them in the pool with me. Usually I'll just wash them off in the water fountain or bathroom sink at the park if they get dirty enough.

My uncle races cars and has some tire spray that makes the rubber tackier. I wonder if it would be any good on slick discs. I prefer them smooth and slick myself, but I know a lot of other people like a grippier feel.

No showers with them, but I do wash my discs fairly regularly - mainly to prevent spreading around any poison ivy residue that may get on them.

This thread kind of makes me wonder, "What exactly do some people do with their discs?"

We've all found a disc while playing a round... threw it in our bag.
Do you know where that plastic's been?

Wait, I think I just made a case for showering with your discs!
Well, at least washing them... I'm not sure I wanna get naked with them.

Then again, as long as everyone involved is consenting and legal...whatever floats your Hydra.

I am up to 250+ discs so I bring them to the pool with me and spend the day with them.
