I did give it a ceremonial tearing in half almost all the way through at the awards ceremony in front of the gallery.
That disc had helped me win several thousand dollars over the years from the moment I first bought it, including 50 bucks in a CTP contest when they first came out in which you got 3 shots at the basket for $5 along with your disc.
I always had a tradition of having Juliana sign it whenever I saw her at Events across the country when her signature had worn off - and as I told everyone who asked why I was having her sign this warped looking dirty piece of plastic i told them I have her re-sign it because it had her signature on it when I first got it.

It now hangs like upside down mouse ears over the in-laws picture in our family picture room much to the chagrin of my wife - who was told that since this was the "family room" my fallen family member was going to be displayed with the rest of the family.
Was that the one that you could fold up into 4ths and put in your back pocket?

That's a shame but I suppose she has served you well.

I have in my bag a Champion Eagle that I bought in 1983. Nothing made now has the same fade and glide pattern that it does.

Oh, and over my right shoulder, on the wall as I type this, is a 30 year old disc with a tournament stamp. Not gonna throw that baby, though.

This XD never really had much of a chance of getting lost, it was used for 200' and under.
Nice thing is I have about 3 replacements for this disc, all are Aviar XDs but none are DTW.

My best disc from the days that I started is a double-stamped X-out max weight CE QMS that I bought from a Charlotte PIAS used disc bin. Looked like crap then and is now even more beaten-up.
Still using it and I have five "field aces" of more than 145'.

Lost it and had it returned and that spooked me so much that I shelved it for six months, but it's back in service now.

I had a 7 year old pro line ryhno that I left outside at my friends house. His dog decided to grab the rhyno in the stack of putters I had in the chair and take a few nibbles out of the rim rendering it useless. I recently threw it in the garbage bc I was tired of looking at it and then realized I should have saved it for the Disc Roast this year

Mine is 171 KC Pro Gazelle. I bought it in 2004 or 5 and have my one and only ace with it. I still carry but I'm a weeny and will only take it out of the bag when there is no chance of losing it. Luckily I have another that I throw on a regular basis and a brand new one that I got from Justsayin' not too long ago, but haven't had the heart to throw it yet, its just so new and shiny.

My second longest is a star valk I bought like two days after star plastic came out. I have nearly lost it numerous times including wading into a swamp in Michigan and pulling a little B&E (without the B) on a locked gate of an RV storage lot in Santa Maria. Ahh good times.

I have a 9x gazelle that goes away when it gets cold so it won't shatter.

I have an elite-x challenger that was the first disc I ever bought. I guess I've been carrying it for 7ish years now.
