Help me with disc selection...I am weak!
Vitals:
Years playing/experience: DG 4 months Right/left-handed/ambidextrous: right-handed Throwing Style: RHBH, some rollers (Practicing) , FH once in a while Golf Distance (avg/max*) for putter/mid/driver: Wizard: 200/240'; Buzzz: 250/280'; River: 280/320' Optional: Age: 21 Sex: M Injuries/handicaps?: None? Bad right wrist sometimes when I use it a lot( old injury that went away and came back for a week after hitting a tree but now it went away again). Nothing major just irritating when it happens to hurt. Other sport proficiencies?: Softball Bag: Drivers (weight/plastic/model/(condition)/use): ??? GL Halo - main D drive 171 GL River, (new) - control/everything ;-) ??? Z xpress, (beat) - rollers(attempted rollers anyways )Mids: ??? X Buzzz "Super Straight Modified Wasp" - main mid - I love this thing! 175 Cryztal Z Buzzz, (new) 174 Z Buzzz ss, straight shots ??? Z Buzzz, backup Putters: 173 Ion soft, normal wear, new putter 175 SS Wizard, normal wear, old putter Any help is greatly appreciated! I think I might need a med. ion because the soft is one of the old textured ones and feels a little loose when I putt. Do I have too many different types of buzzzes? I know I should drop the Halo but what should I use for drivers? I am open to any discs to help my form and any pointers on what I should focus on when trying to practice and learn correct form. What are the best vids and or forums posts on techniques? What should I disc down to from the Halo? A valk or something?

I would say get a mid for overstable duties, I recommend a wasp. And something I'd like to say about your "super straight modified wasp"...I once said that the early buzzzs said exactly that and, don't remember who it was, somebody pretty much just laughed at me and told me "you're wrong". I'd like to find him and show him I was right

how do the cryztal and backup buzz fly for you?
the river and xpress cover turnover/straight shots for you, so something more stable for windy days and when you need a harder fade. something like a eagle/gazelle/teebird as far as innova goes. for discraft, maybe a tracker or cyclone?

Sweet! I have a Gazelle! The Cryztal Buzzz flies super super straight and the other one is normal I think, it's one I just got in a trade so I haven't used it much. Here it is to prove them wrong!

Check the technique sticky for form stuff, it will point you in the right direction. The nerds over at Discgolfreview.com go really into it, it can be overwhelming but it's worth it. ![]() So bag would be with my biased picks: 166-168 GL Striker 171 GL River Z Xpress GL Pain Z Buzzz/Cryztal Buzzz/X Buzzz (whichever is straighter) Fuse Ion (one disc casual rounds = fun) Wizard (putting if it's not broke)

That is awesome! I just got a 169 striker! I will have to pick up a Fuse! The only other mid options I have are: Wolf, Q sentinel, a roc(which I maybe shouldn't mix with the buzzz?), and a Element. Would any of those fill the fuse slot until I pick one up? And what weight fuse would you suggest? Thank you so much for all your help so far you guys!

The Q Sentinel, even though it's beaded, is a lower profile mid so it won't feel too awkward in that overstable slot. Give it a long look. The Wolf and Element are your best Fuse subs right now but Wolves are kind of odd, favored mostly by old schoolers that like thumb tracks and the Element can go all over the place b/c Gateway is notorious for run inconsistencies and that mold has gone through a number of tinkering. So if you have an Element, only you know it will behave, lol.
I don't like to mix beaded and non beaded mids personally. Keeping rim profiles uniform helps me keep my mind on the throw and not my grip, etc. Mixing Rocs and Buzzzes in particular I'm not crazy about b/c Rocs are a little slower than Buzzzes. It's nice to have your mids all the same speed so you don't have to make as many throwing adjustments, i.e. power up on the Buzzz or power down on the Roc. It's personal preference.

I don't like Nukes...I have used a Nuke ss and that was ok, and I also have a Nuke OS that I got from trade...that thing is crazy overstable!
