Playing on Belle Isle could be fun.
Think I'll register for this later today (wanna check forecast first, I hate playing in crappy conditions, let alone paying for that "privilege".

If it looks good, I'll see you there!

I know that it isn't free to play and we all have to be careful about where we spend our hard earned cash these days, but the proceeds for this tournament are all put directly to baskets and other materials needed for the permanent course. The tournament organizers are only doing this to raise cash for the course, not to continue the existence of a dg club. Consider it a very worthy cause for donation and then just enjoy the tournament, and beer, and food, and donated prizes that are provided for all players. Hope you can make it..

Registered, petition signed...geez that list of sig's is downright anaemic!

C'mon people, it doesn't cost you anything to sign the petition, and I KNOW there are a ton of DG'ers in the area. Please: don't let Jayne/Lasky Park be the only example of disc golf in the city limits. Wouldn't it be nice to have a decent course Downtown?

Throw a round, grab a bite to eat and head to Comerica for a Tigers game?
Or swing by Eastern Market?
Or Greektown?
Maybe a casino?
Or how about just an old fashioned picnic on Belle Isle?

Only 21 sigs on petition???

C'mon local players!

Didn't see my name...not sure if it's working properly. Seemed OK last night when I "thought" I signed.

Anybody else thought they signed electronically, but can't find their name when they hit "View Signatures?"

Will try when I get home.

27 and counting...

OK now I see my name on the list. We're gonna need a lot more sigs for this petition to be a viable show of support.

I signed and registered.

Quick question though... Is the course cart friendly? There was one water carry that i didnt see a crossing for.
Im pretty good with my cart, even using it at cass and kensignton.

Definitely cart friendly, the course is pretty flat because there is pretty much 0 elevation in Detroit. There is one spot after hole 11 where there is a stick bridge that might be a little tricky but it's only about 15 feet long. If it doesn't rain from now until Sunday you should be fine anyways.
