Article about a proposed deal that would lease Belle Isle as a state park for 30 years. Of course, the deal has to be approved by city council.

Good for disc golf prospects?

I think YES, the MI State Parks have been big supporters of disc golf lately. I'm sure someone smarter than I could look up how many state parks now have disc golf that didn't 5 years ago.

Was out t the course looking at the new layout today. It has a ton of potential, and character. This could really be a special course someday.

I gotta find a way to be there. Have to be at a Halloween party in Marine City later that night and won't really have a chance to go back home for a shower (majorly out of the way...), so I may need to hit the YMCA in Mt. Clemens, or something... but I gotta find a way to play.

You know it's both Saturday and Sunday Oct 27-28 right? Sunday is a single round doubles tourney.

I noticed that - I generally prefer singles, but sometimes dubs is fun too.
Just so I got the reqistration fees straight:

$30 covers Sat Singles (2 rounds) including Sunday Doubles (if you want to attend both days).

If you only wanna play Dubs Sunday - just $20.

Correct?

Not exactly. $30 covers just Saturday singles. $40 covers both Saturday and Sunday.

However if you register soon on the indiegogo we are running a promo for $35 for both Saturday and Sunday.

Im planning on registering for the tournament soon but I do have one question.

If registering for both days of play, you don't have to stay overnight and camp correct?
