Hot Round was a 63......Might be the only course I've played where scores in the 80s still warrant a 900+ rating
IIRC we shot in the mid 80s on a sopping wet day and while I didn't feel great about how I played, I definitely didn't feel like I shot <900 rated.

Par average and percent par:
1: 4.37, 60%
2: 3.83, 61.5%
3: 4.22, 56.5%
4: 2.80, 42%
5: 5.55, 44%
6: 3.03, 62.5%
7: 2.90, 78%
8: 3.77, 61.5%
9: 4.50, 55%
10: 5.52, 36%
11: 4.30, 45.5%
12: 2.83, 66%
13: 4.02, 45.5%
14: 3.41, 45%
15: 4.28, 60.5%
16: 3.20, 62.5%
17: 4.30, 43.5%
18: 4.58long, 52% and 4.04 short, 54%

some shockers for me, hole 1, 5, 10, 11 (really, that seems high)

let me know what you think.
What do you mean by "par average"? Do you mean average score recorded on the hole? Also, I'd like to know the hole averages for players rated 970 and higher.

Regarding 1,5,10 and 11
1,5,and 10 are apt to add a stroke if you are off the fairway...def an added stroke. I'm sure many got greedy and tried to max out D rather than manage themselves and the course.
11 is an easy 4 unless you get wet...so I am guessing the stream got more than 1 pro a circle 5.
I guess the predictions of a 58 that a few were making didn't materialize. Thankfully because I was concerned the course was gonna be too easy this year.

When we're talking about the highly-rated pro open men, they almost always choose "greed" and "max-D" over course management. Many of them still don't get the concept of a gold level course and the fact that "par" can not hurt their score on these types of championship courses.

Played the Hoodoo last weekend as an Int. Am. All I can say is the course beat the hell out of me. In fact, Nockamixon always beats the hell out of me but it was damn fun. First round 86 Second round 81 (yeah, I'm not that great). A course this demanding requires amazing maintenance and the guys from the LVDC did an amazing job making the course look beautiful. Even when I play like I'm missing an arm, a mr. discgolf tournament is always amazing.

If anyone needs a good does of humility, head down to Nocky cause she'll always be there to give it. Great course, great people, great times.

For those who have played Nocky, tell me what is wrong with this review:

Nocky review

I have never received so many negative thumbs so fast and not a single person will say what is wrong with it, so I am assuming it was because I did not give it a 4.5 rating.
