Michigan to Georgia!
A few friends and I are planning a spur of the moment trip for this coming weekend (Oct 6/7th) to none other than FlyBoy Aviation!! We are coming from Michigan and are going to plan a few stops along the way and around flyboy. Any suggestions for must-see courses or ace races/tourneys would be greatly appreciated! Thanks fellow disc lovers

Too many to list
, however, I am a little biased...Have not had the opportunity to play FlyBoy yet , but there are many great courses here. We can boast having the PDGA world headquarters in GA too.Atlanta Disc Golf Organization (adgo, just google it) has the listings for Metro ATL and surrounding courses, as well as the reviews from this site! Hope you enjoy the great state of JAWJA!

If you're traveling south on I75 you'll pass right through Cincinnati. Might as well hit up Idlewild and Lincoln Ridge which are just across the river in northern Kentucky. Neither is far off the interstate and they are only about 20 minutes apart. If you have the time, you could even hit up Mt. Airy (and the Nati Proshop which is right on site.) in Cincinnati.
In Dayton, OH there are a couple nice courses. Handyman Ace Hardware and Belmont Park are the two I'd recommend. Have fun, looks like a great trip. |
