eagle mold question?

I have 11x eagles x and L are 11x eagle in cal mold more overstable than ca just like the teebirds?

From what I've read and heard on this site, Cal molding only pertains to teebirds. The X mold eagles are more overstable than the L molds.

General rule o' thumb for eegs and birds:
Flatter top = more stable.
Regardless of tooling, stamp, color or religious preference.

well, if you're looking for specific runs then the tooling and flatness would probably matter to you. is it x or l mold? which tooling does it have and which tooling does the other one have? is the other one opaque like this one? how do their flatness/dome compare? answers to these questions will go far helping you find what you're lookin for
