Every now and then while I'm playing with some friends a little bit of friendly trash talk goes down. In this case sometimes I'll say some cocky/corny remark before driving, and well I'de say 2 out of three were decent rips. It's not worth being a cocky cornball though...it just ain't. But having a little bounce in your step doesn't hurt.

I step up to the box and think to myself ..."please don't screw this up"

I usually try to clear my thoughts and focus on my form as I get up to the tee box.

step to the back of the box, putting only my toes on the edge, with ankles off the edge. rub the top of the disc, while i think about where i want it to go. then, i wind up and let it go, and generally curse to myself afterwards

I try to relax by taking a deep breath, I look at my target, take another deep breath, and let it rip. If I don't do this the odds are I will be chasing my disc.
