DIY Hole
This is an overhead of my latest DIY (Design it yourself) hole at my local park. It's about 660' and I play it as a par 5. The main feature is a tunnel shot through the outfield fences of the ball fields. Ideally u would drive to as close to the opening of the tunnel as u can and be centered in between the fences as well. Then shoot most of the way or all the way through the tunnel to set up your approach. I should point out that the first part of the tunnel is a true tunnel with a 10' fence on the bottom fence and a 20' high fence on the top fence. The fence for the field on the bottom and right is very short, probably only 4' high and gives the opportunity for a shot that starts over the field and fades back. I should add that I play all the fields as OB. I have gotten a 4 on this hole but also a 9, with going OB twice, lol. Would u consider this too penal a hole or maybe too gimmicky? I'll post ground level pics in the next day or so.
Hole plays from left to right in the picture.
