finding your disc's.

Out of extreme frustration of losing discs I decided to put my creative engineering aspect to work.

I came up with an idea to use a small cr2032 battery with a switch and a micro piezo buzzer.

That is then covered in shrink wrap and one side of Velcro.
The velcro is placed in the center of the disc. As far as I can tell the flight of the disc is unnaffected. The unit only weighs .6oz.

The result is of course not pdga legal but for practice games it is perfect.

The buzzer is loud enough to hear if you are within 100 ft
Of the disc.

Once I get the design perfected ill post a tutorial.

it changes the flight and would not be legal in tourney play, so you would get used to an overstable leopard and flip it when it counts.
I use these when teaching blind students. a dragon becomes a predator.

huh, great minds think alike.

his design appeared to use a capacitor which would need to be charged before every throw and would eventually die.

as for price Im gonna do some more testing but if I am able to buy the parts in bulk i could sell them for probably less than 10 bucks.

Design a system that uses the discs spin to charge the capacitor. With a decent enough capacitor you should be able to find it before it wears out.

would require magnet/bearings and would add weight as well as act against the applied axial torque place on the disc.
