just by reading the description i'd suggest buzzz, but if those don't work then maybe a dx classic roc? a little longer than a putter and once it beats in a bit they are very workable.

if you want something longer than that i'd also try a dx spider. when i first started my second disc that served as a mid/putter was a dx spider. i always thought they felt like a putter in the hand too, as mentioned earlier.

A long mid that can finish straight and also has a shallow rim depth, would be the discraft glide, it fits the distances you're looking for. It's understable and doesn't require alot of snap to go a long way.

The lack of glide and the height required for distance.

I second the Cyclone. ESP's fly midrange distances really well and can be pushed out way farther if needed.

Who said they were screaming?

its true, a buzzz SHOULD be what your asking for...if not, a cyclone would do the trick (stalker to, but ive only thrown one literally twice, so i cant truly suggest it). maybe a gazelle/cheetah/leopard too

All righty then, I could see that.

I think a lot of you are missing his point or maybe I am.

I believe he is saying that he wants a driving mid with a thick rim like a fairway driver. If that is the case then a lot of these suggestions are off.

he's tried the buzzz and it has a small rim - so no
the comet isn't a driving mid, it's a finesse disc - so no
at that range the spider and cyclone will not be straight - so no
in fact i think most fairways will not be straight start to finish at this range - so no
i've never thrown a meteor so i don't know on that one...

the impact i think would be a good suggestion, but it has a really small rim for a fairway driver...

before you listed the range i would of immediately suggested the CMD2, imo it's the best driving mid i've ever thrown. however i only get good straight flights with minimal fade on throws 300+. it does have a really nice thick rim though, so maybe try a PMD2 which are less stable than the C's.

at that range the axis or mako could be what you are looking for but again, there rims are not that much thicker than the roc or buzzz...

so yea... i'd try the axis or maybe a PMD2 and see how you like either of those.

Is the Axis straight at 200-250' power??
