I've played this one several times and it is definitely less than 275'. the basket is slightly right in the shaded spot. Just past the basket is usually thick mud and lots of brush and the water to the right isn't very pleasant. If I'm feeling saucy, I'll run at it with a buzzz and usually end up in trouble if I don't hit metal or get stopped by the trees behind it. A wizard is a pretty safe shot for a drop in.

Here's a wee bit better picture. I shot that photo back in the day when I was for whatever reason shrinking my photos down to 480x360.
![]() ![]() Uploaded with ImageShack.us Anyways, I also checked the distance on Google Earth and Kevin is correct. The pin position by the water shown here and on playdg.com is likely in the low 200's. (The 228 on the map is likely it). I would point out that there's some irregular land sloping up by the basket making that position a wee bit precarious, and could put an otherwise parked shot in the drink (albeit not very deep) should it catch a roll. The south course is a tourney temp that is right alongside of this course. It is used only once a year. I'm heading to Lawrence on Tuesday. Even though the tree foliage is likely gone for the year, I might snap a reverse view shot of this hole along the way.

may throw the drone just to be sure and avoid the water, but an axis should work perfectly for this hole. Putting with wizards
