I agree, Booter...best driving putter ever. I have a GL Pure I'm trying to eval and I can't stop throwing the flippin Opto. Its just too good. I even like it as a putter, but the ZL seems to stick better for me. I can putt with either, but have gone back to the ZL for now.

eze and zero will go back to normal in the pure mold. I just use the flattening method and they go back to normal. My main zero pure looks like hell right now, but its still nice and flat and no warpage whatsoever. I have also found if you lay them up side down in the sun for a day or two they will go back to normal also.

I will say zero/eze are great even fantastic for feel but durability meh. That is why it is great they made the opto and soon the gold line.

Even though the eze/opto pure are the same they don't even feel close to the same to me. The rim seems cluunkier in the opto vs eze. just an observation wondering if anyone else feels this way. are they different molds?

the EZEs are uber flat (almost concave looking)
the Optos are domier

I think that may be why they feel thicker

yeah i can see that. I am more referring to the thickness of the rim and the feel of the rim in comparison. But i totally agree one of my favorite ezes is slightly concave.

I am still giving it a fair chance though. Shoot I have several backups so i have to give it a good boy scout try!!!

I think I know what you are saying

I just compared a TM2 and an Opto

physically they look the same
there isn't really any noticeable differentiation to the eye

but the Opto does feel "thicker"

I do think it has something to do with the depth of grip due to the extra dome

(although I have a tweaking feeling that someone conspiracy theoried that there was a different mold)
