I'm sure Mr Houck will let us know as soon as things are set.

The PDGA Schedule is still taking shape, but we are "penciled in" for March 23-24. See you at Selah.

I keep hearing a rumor that Selah was sold, and confirmed that the people saying that are not confusing it with the sale of Circle R. Can anyone confirm or debunk that rumor?

The new Roy G. in Austin made me realise this as the course is all 300' to 750' holes with tree lined, open fairways and a lot of people don't like the repetitive feel of throwing as far as you can every shot. I however like the idea that the course is consistent, especially in an area with multiple courses to choose from.
The flip side is my local pitch and putt Alex Clark Memorial. One of the better holes is a 420' dogleg left with a creek bordering the hole from the left and comes a quarter of the way up the right before going perpendicular to the fareway. Taken out of context it is a good hole. Put in reference on a course with the second longest hole being 100' shorter and most come in around 200' shorter it just doesn't fit in. It is bothe the best and worst hole on the course.
I see what you're saying, there is something to be said for a course that works on specific skills. I personally have the most fun on courses that have a mix of line shaping and distance tests, and I felt like Creekside was more about distance and shot placement with few holes that gave me a specific line to hit. Like I said earlier, a 4 is an excellent course, I would go way out of my way to play courses I think are 4s and would recommend the same for other players. To get above that requires something special, and requires a little more variety in my personal scale. Both of those I found on the Lakeside course, which is why I gave it a 5 and would put it #2 on my list of top courses I've played.

So are they shipping in carts or what? Surely were not going to have to walk?
