First a $75/day fee to bring a pet, and then no dogs on the course? That's an interesting business decision. This is in Texas, right?

I asked, all he said was i needed to keep my dog under control, we decided to leave him home this time anyway.

Hm, I wish that was the policy when we played, peanut missed a weeklong road trip because of the no dogs policy at Selah when I came through.

they knew you would be rating the course a 4 and figured, screw that guy and his little dog

I can see why they wouldn't want dogs with their dogs, other non-golfing guests and the other animals on property. They probaby price it high just to discourage people.

I played this course yesterday Its absolutely amazing. They were mowing yesterday when I played so it should be in great shape when Martin gets there today. I lost two drivers in the water but even then the course was alot of fun. I didn't rent a cart and I think that was the right decision, the scenery around that place is really amazing and deserves to be taken in, in its entirety. The local dogs/guide Pete and Cookie are great and incredibly friendly. I can definately see going back to this place a few times.

Beautiful out there today, wow. Got a round from each tee pad in, 2 rounds on each course, well worth the trip. The cart was worth it, we would have only been able to get in 2 rounds otherwise. Ran into E-Mac and PP out there, they were scouting for their tourney coming up in Feb.
