Not liking the Fuses? The more I throw mine, the more I am liking it. I am considering adding a GL Fuse to go with it. (Have a 171 Opto now) It has been taking quite a few rounds to unlock it, but once I figured it out, it has become my go to mid.

I like them too... It is between Fuses, Buzzz SS, Comet, Meteor, Beat X Buzzz, or Lycan...

Only one I have had do what I wanted was the Fuse. I'm getting to the point I can hold it dead nuts straight or hard or soft overstable as well. It goes where I want and where and how I throw it. I had planned on trying another to compare, but as this sucker beats in, I see no reason to try anything else.

I have all of the disc's I listed and I am doing field work with all of them... I like the fuse but I overpower it sometimes. I think I will end up going with the Buzzz SS and Beat X Buzzz because I don't really need another mold then.
I like the Meteor as well but I need to get one in a lower weight to see if it is what I want.

Yeah, the Fuse does like to be dialed back sometimes. Makes it fly nicely, though.

So I think I got it figured out... Still doing some understable mid testing but I think I am going with a Buzzz SS and a Comet
Distance Drivers: 168g Pro Katana 7/10: I have three of them but only carry one in the bag and only use it for max D on open holes. I have started to use it a bit more because my form has improved a lot since last spring. I can throw it flat and it turns a bit left (RHFH) and then has a good amount of predictable fade. 375' - 400' Fairway Drivers: 175g CE Firebird 7/10: This thing is a beast most OS disc in the bag. I only use this for big head winds and big spike hyzers. 300' - 330' 169g CE Firebird L 8/10: Not as much fade and I can put it out farther than the 175. 315' -350' 170g Pro Firebird 9/10: Good strait driver with predictable fade. No were near as OS as the CE's 330' - 360' 150g DX Firebird 6/10: This was the first disc I ever owned back in 2001 and it has been in my bag ever since. I don’t use it much anymore but I can do a ton with this disc. I can hyzer flip it or throw it on a hyzer. The only thing I really use it for is get out of trouble type shots now because I don’t want to lose it. I also have an 11x Firebird that I am liking a lot but I want to get some back ups before I put it in the bag. 168g Z Avanger SS 7/10: Super flippy turnover disc. Hyser Flips that go left and stay left. Rollers. I really like this disc and have no problems here. Longest drive to date with any disc 430'+ 170G Cryztal Z Avenger SS 10/10: I am beating this in for a backup and I use it for night rounds. More stable than the other one but I can flip it pretty easy. 172g 9x KC Pro Gazelle 7/10: Go to driver. I can do almost anything with this disc and I have a few backups for it that I bring in the car but is not in my bag. 330' - 360' 172 11x KC Pro Gazelle 8/10: Great disc with more stability than the 9x's. I have two now and carry one for wind and shots that I want a little bit more fade. 330' - 360' 175g DX Gazelles 5/10: Hyzer flips and turnovers that don’t need to go as far as my Avenger SS shots. 330' - 360' I just got two CFR CE Gazelles and a 168 glow gazelle that I am going to play with. I love the grip on the CE and the glow feels like it will be a pig (for a Gazelle) Mids: 175g Elite X Buzzz 8/10: Beat Hyzer Flips, Turnovers & Rollers anything up to 300' 175g Elite Z Buzzz 8/10: Most overstable Buzzz will do most lines but I use it mostly for Hyzers anything up to 300' 175g Cryztal Z Buzzz 9/10: Straight Buzzz anything up to 300' 175g Z Buzzz SS 9/10: I am beating this in to be a long hard turner. So far it is a bit to stable but as time goes on I am hoping it will beat in nicely. I am going to try and find some lighter ones also. Out to 300' 177g Elite X Comet 9/10: Finess turnover disc to help my form. I like the Comet so far and it is great for shaping lines. I don't have to throw it as hard as my Buzzz SS or my beat X Buzzz to get it to turn over. Great disc for powering down. I have not got it out to 300' yet. 176g ESP Comet 9/10: More stable than the X Comet but still great. I can put more on this one without burning it. I am going to keep working with the Buzzz SS and Comet and see how it goes. I have a 167g Z Comet that might go in the bag as well. So far so good. I also have a few Beefy Glow Buzzz's and some FLX/FLX Cryztal Buzzz's that I am going to play with. Putters: 2 175g SS Wizard 7/10: Main putting putter but I drive with them sometimes. 175g S Evo Wizard 9/10: Straight Driving putter 175g DX Bullet XD 8/10: Hyzer Flips & Anhyzers love these things. 175g 1 Pro D and 1 ESP Zone 9/10: Overstable putting and fills my overstable mid duties. The ESP is way more OS. I am still playing with Spikes and Pures quite a bit and really like both disc's. I don't know what to do??? I really like Wizards and XD's but these Lat64 Putters have been being really good to me. I can sink longer putts with the pure it seems like. I seems to fly faster than a Wizard and holds its line better. I don't know. I don't think my putt average has changed much but I like the way it feels in my hand. I really don't know what to do with the putter situation???

Seems like you're carrying a lot of discs. You're definitely over 20, you listed almost 30 discs if you include the maybe's, and there's like nearly 10 OOP discs in there. You have a quasi-minimalist approach going where you try to keep the number of molds low but have it as complicated as possible in every other way. Just seems weird.
I know you say you like old plastic (as a justification for keeping the Firebirds and Gazelles I guess) but then you throw current run Pro, Z, X, CFR Champ, Evo, DX, ESP, and everything else in the world. You're alllllllll over the place. I would try to simplify. |

Drop a Zone and add the Pure for longer putts? You say the Buzzz has the overstable mid pretty well. Seems like a Zone may be a tad of overlap you could lose and not hurt so badly while adding length in the putt dept with the Zone.
