Sometimes this is a naturally occurring characteristic to the soft material to have a soft/wavy appearance across the top. This appearance is sometimes common and does not affect performance. If it is warped out of shape, this sounds like a case where the disc got damaged during shipping.

Got a chance to get in some approach/putting practice today with one of my soft anodes (the other was stolen by my A**hole neighbor). I have to say I am Not liking it. My anode is S 173G Navy blue, The feeling I get in my hand is that the rim is deeper than the ion thus affecting my releases. As far as flight goes I don't see much of a difference from my 2nd run Opaque 171g S ion. When it comes to putters feel is very important and in that aspect the anode just doesn't cut it for me. Back to the Ion.

Well, the Anodes have unexpectedly started to become my putting putter. I am finding the soft softer than I remember the opaque soft Ions I had and surprisingly tacky and the mediums give me the rigidness I sometimes want.

Simply put, they are a pleasure to use in all roles.

Had to pick up some emergency Anodes the other day for a tourney. Found a couple perfectly soft regulars. I love them.

I have also noticed (now that the weather is cooperating) that my soft Anodes are a little softer and tackier than any soft run of Ion.

Anybody else questioning the durability of the soft anodes? I've probably thrown mine 20 times tops and it already looks like it's been through a whole season.

I love how i can induce a slight right turn with the Anode and never have it come back when thrown hard and flat. I used to love ions for driving but this thing just goes so MUCH farther. It amazes me.

I have 1 12 hole game and two short putting practice sessions on my S anode and it is in worse condition than my S opaque ion that has been through a whole season.

I've been having 0 durability issues with my Anodes. Asphalt, trees, brick, metal. You name it, I've pretty much put mine through it no problem.
