i used to putt with soft ions and anodes, but it was screwing with my head and it seemed i always threw the wrong disc. now i bag an eclipse soft and a proton anode for driving. i still drive with my ions 99% of the time but im wowed everytime i throw my anode, usually for dead straight tunnel shots with low ceilings that have no tolerance for fade.

need to throw mine more, same with my axes.

I love how it pushes straight and has a little more forgiveness than the Ion, there's a tunnel shot on my place hole #18 about 180', 10-15' drop in height. Anode all the way I haven't aced it yet but I'm always close, I giggle when people pull out a driver and shag it into the bush.

Some people don't get it. I group up with these two guys the other day (I was solo) and I went to throw a putter off a tee on a hole that was like 200' over a small pond, awful thick bushes behind the basket.

"WHAAAAAIIIITTT? a putter??? Hope you don't mind losing that thing to the drink! ROFLMAOLOLOLZ"

Tee off with the anode and watch it majestically soar to basket. Parked it. I don't know why they found it so preposterous.

Are any of these floppy at all? What's the softest putter they offer?

I really like having both, but I ONLY use the Neutrons off the tee or when it's windy (they are $$ in the wind compared to the soft Ps).

Couldn't agree more and this sums up my experience as well. Carry both in my bag and would be absolutely lost with my Soft Proton Anode. Actually carry both the Anode and Ion in Neutron for off the tee purposes and for shorter midrange shots. While the Proton Anode is my go-to disc for putting and approach shots.

I have a soft proton that is floppy; as floppy as MVP gets. I like to throw it in the trees when I need to weave a line without nicking off a tree and pinballing way off course. I prefer to close putt with harder ions though.

soft is pretty soft but I wouldn't say floppy-- you can fold them in half no problem but there is some resistance. My soft neutron is more floppy but they are not in mass production yet. Softs remind me of vibram med.
