Here's what MVP sent to resellers last night. I don't think there's anything in here I'm not supposed to share. I can hardly wait to get these things.

Dear Customer,

We are excited to announce that our new Anode Putter is now available for pre-order.

The Anode is our new beadless putter. It has less fade on putts, yet is stable enough for long straight drives. It is also great for holding long smooth anhyzer lines. The Anode is a straight flyer, making it a great compliment to the stable Ion.

Please allow 1-2 weeks processing time for pre-orders consisting of the Anode.

Please note that medium flexibility putters will no longer be referenced as "medium" or marked with an "M". They will be treated as standard proton; only the weight will be written on the rim. The soft flexibility will still be marked with an "S" next to the weight.

Cheers,
The MVP Disc Sports Team

Are these only in Medium for now? The order form only had one line for the Anode as opposed to a soft and medium line for Ions.

Right now we are currently producing them in Proton, we have plans to run Proton Soft Anodes thereafter.

You can tell the Anode has a more rounded nose. Chad said this was a key feature of the design to improve aerodynamics. So I think it will be a bit faster than other similarly shaped putters. I'm hoping it gives up stability with wear a little quicker than the Ion as well. As far as stability goes, I'm hoping it's easier to push the disc into a little high speed turn and a still get a decent fade for a tight S shot. The new Ions are tough to do this with.

May I just say I'm way more excited about the Anode than about Opto Pures?

Chad, can you please compare the stability of this to a magic for me, if you can word it eloquently enough i'll probably buy like 10.
