Buck@ Harris Lake County Park

Hey guys, I was wondering how long it would take to play this course by myself. Let's say the course is moderately busy and I'm playing all by my lonesome. What's the minimum amount of time I could play it in (without rushing) and the maximum amount of time it might take if I'm just playing at a regular pace.

For any of you who will ask (since I won't be able to log back in until around 1pm), I am in great shape. I could easily go run 3 miles right now with little problem, and last year when I played some mountain courses in CO, it hardly phased me at all.

I've played Buckhorn 15x and it's never been that busy. I would say 40min if you played fast, but if it's your first time maybe more. Some of the blue tees are way longer than the whites.

Build in some time to look for lost discs. The water obviously. Also there are a few erosion ravines that fill with leaves and hide discs. I only played there once but I lost my buddy's roadrunner. I also like Middle Creek (closer to Raleigh, pretty back roads to Raleigh), very short - *quick* - course.

I'd say walking at a brisk pace and shooting parish, 50 min. If you hustle and jog 40. At normal pace it takes me around an hour, longer if you lose a disc which can happen.

Why play alone? I'll play it with ya. A bunch of us are hitting it at 330 today.

New013,

I'll be in the area tomorrow, and I really don't think I'll have time to play it. I was just wanting an estimate on it. Thanks man.

To all others,

Thanks for the info.

well as somebody else said, you can probably swing middle creek if you're stressed for time. i play that course in 45 minutes casually.
