So I played the Ropes at the Oaks today figuring that I'd never get the chance to play in the USDGC so this was my best chance at playing a course with lots of roped off OB... Ended up qualifying for USDGC. Did not expect it at all. Guess I'm going

I played the course yesterday. While there is not much in terms of difficulty here, the bike/walking path can and should be used as OB to make it interesting.

I had to wait to throw from the teepad on every hole because of other park users. I really didn't mind because I was not in a rush, but it is a very busy park on a Sunday afternoon. I saw 1 family and they were not paying attention to the bikers and walkers on the path. One of their drives flew about 10' from a jogger's head on #3.

It's a long walk back to the Dominicks parking lot after #9. I made up some safari holes along the way.

The teepads are very nice. The tunnel, #5 is a lot of fun. Possibly the signature hole here???

Plenty of ace runs because everything is so short. I think #7 was the only hole where I knew there was no chance at an ace for me.

I certainly did not "find it first" and I am not looking to start a fight over who lists a new course. I was not sure if it was unlisted for a reason...just posted the same question on discontinuum. If anyone who has already been there wants to handle that, it's fine with me.

Either way, I will upload the rest of the pics from my phone when I have more time.

Thanks for all the congrats! I intend to have a lot of fun there. And sure, if you get me cash I don't see why I wouldn't be able to pick up Rocs for you.

Jason, those baskets just went in the ground so it's probably not listed here because a week or two ago the course didn't even exist
