Update: hand specialist surgeon said infection looks under control for now but with the pinky still being numb looks like definite nerve damage. He said to come back Friday for check up and really think about having surgery on it. I don't have insurance so dunno about that :/
thank goodness it's just the pinky, who really uses it much for anything anyways except drinkin tea

Yeah pinky's are over rated. Lol do you have that tingley like u slept on it because that feeling sucks.

Ya whole pinky has the tingly ants crawling on it feeling. Learning to do things left handed has been fun tho. Just Wish I could be out trying to play lefty in but still gotta take it easy.

Pinky nerve damage would definitely be better than the thumb or any other fingers, hopefully you can regain enough motion in that finger to at least keep it out of the way when you're throwing. I lost feeling in the end of one of my fingers after an injury, but it still moves fine.
