We had 17 guys last night for the first night of league. Unfortunately that was my last one of the year. I am moving on to Dundee Township Park District. My last day is tomorrow, Friday, March 30. I wanted to let you guys know that we will be making some minor changes to the course. The first change is rubber tee boxes at all holes. Right now the only two holes that don’t have rubber tees is #2 and #6. That leads to my next point. Hole #2 is going to come out and we are going to be adding a hole on the far west side of the park. It’s about 300 yard hole and I think it will be a sweet addition to the course. We will also be working on getting new signage out on the course. Please be patient during this change. Lastly, I am working on getting a practice basket near hole #1. This way while you are waiting for your buddies to show up, you can practice your putting. Mike Contreras was referring to the fact that he was leaving his position at Geneva and moving on to Dundee. The league is still going. As you can see the schedule is up and I will still be there to get things going every wednesday. It is just a shame that Mike is no longer there with us, because it is not very often that you find a person in his position with the park department that has the enthusiasm for disc golf like he does. At the very least that enthusiasm will spread in his new position. Ace pot is at 122 (i may be a buck or two off because I don't have my records in front of me).......And there are quite a few ace runs out there......
