New Course in Loudoun County, VA

http://www.leesburgtoday.com/news/pl...9bb2963f4.html

Three of our club members attended three public input sessions and got disc on the plan!!

This is huge for Loudoun...a wooded course to compliment the 10,488 feet purple monster at Franklin park.

Looking future into it I would actually be able to play this course after work with out sitting in and hour traffic to get there.

Pre, I know it's not in the ground yet but I bet I could find are way through it. When ever your game.

Great. I wouldn't course would be a huge compliment to the wide open Franklin park. Will it be as long as long to purple because that would be awesome!!!

From one of the club members in attendance of the meeting.

Quote:
Two years til the park is being constructed. and the park is allocating approx 30 acres for the course. 2.8 mill in funding was set aside last year to start the design process. It will be until next year that anything starts on the ground....

It will be shorter for sure. But all in the woods which will be a good contrast to franklin. more to follow..30 acres designated for disc course...id say think along the lines of burke lake.
