I have hit a person before, but i did yell four. they looked at me like i was crazy until my disc plowed him in the head. if you are the guy i hit and you are reading this, sorry again. but you are an absolute idiot and deserved to get hit

Was just watching the Memorial coverage from last year...only halfway through it but was amazed at Doss' composure after he took an 8 on hole 1. He birdied the next two. That really showed me what it takes to be a champion in more than just your play!

Oaks is not a very forgiving course. It's always a challenge, unless you are tomsdiscs and then it's a walk in the park. I'm not surprised one of the top players (Doss) had such a ****ty day out there. I've been playing that course every week for over 5 years and my best round there ever would have just beat Doss by a stroke today. My good buddy DanK tied Doss today, looking forward to caddying for him tomorrow and seeing him outplay Doss. {

The course at CSUMB is clearly tilted towards power players that can hit their lines, and on a few holes, power on certain lines that are at certain angles.
And then there is always the wind as the course is less than 1 mile from the ocean, so it is really hard to ever look at 2 different rounds and consider them an apples to apples comparison.
The -13 Feldberg shot today is every bit as impressive as Billings -18 during Worlds, the wind today was much stronger, at least for the second half of the round, it caused lots of top notch players to get double bogeys, etc.
The CSUMB/Oaks course is one of those courses that most players will never really dominate, even under ideal conditions, they will not roll up very many birdies, you have to be able to roll out 400+ drives in windy conditions on many of the holes to capture birds, and by 400 feet, I mean 400 feet with overstable drivers, none of that flippy disc glide distance. Flippy discs are a nightmare out there.
The funny thing is, the course was considerably revamped for Worlds, and the new layout is overall easier than it was before.
It is my favorite course, I take care of it, plant trees, water them (like I did after the round today), pick up the trash and beer bottles the students leave out there, and maybe by showing the course so much love, it pays me back.
And if AtrainWecker showed it a little love, it might pay him back.

You know I show the Oaks course a little love. I don't think that is my problem. I think it's the not throwing 400 feet part..
