Tournaments & More

Gone are the days of using the vBulletin calendar to list events on the site. You'll notice the tournament listings have been seriously updated. There are all new tournament pages, a new tournament calendar, as well as a new "list" style view of upcoming tournaments. I've also tweaked the tournament map interface a bit.

What's new besides the look?

You can add a fee break down to each tournament, specify contact details as well as creating a schedule. Multi-course tournaments are easy as well, just choose the other courses the event is taking place at and you're golden.

Also, when you add a tournament, it is shown immediately on the course page(s).

There is also a better looking RSVP list and when you RSVP "yes" for a tournament and if you have your facebook account linked up, it'll post it to your page. You'll also find upcoming nearby tournaments on the tournament page if there are any coming up in the area.

There are also a couple of new achievements. Tournament Director and Competitor. As you might have guessed, the TD achievement is gained by adding tournaments to the site. The Competitor achievement is gained by RSVPing "yes" to tournaments.

As always there might be bugs so feel free to let me know.

Things to finish tomorrow/this week:
- Browse Courses with upcoming tournaments won't work correctly at the moment. It's pulling old data.
- Add an "Attending" tab to your dashboards so you can see which tournaments you plan on attending (or not attending!).
- Add RSVP Facebook option in Dashboard home so you can set the default to on/off.

I have the Ohio DGCR Meet added. The event takes place at three course. I have two of them added, but the third, The Player's Course at Alum Creek, is not listed in the drop down for nearby courses.
