Unless you leave the park I imagine it would still be against the rules.

technically the tournament would be suspended, so i would guess rules would still be in effect.

You can drink in the park in between rounds. You just can't drink during the round. IS rain delay still during the round or not?

Sounds like possession of OH during rain delay is DQable. What if someone else holds the beer and I sip it through a straw?

outside of alcohol and other substances, i wonder how that would apply to practice throws. would you be allowed to toss a few putts after being informed of when the round was going to restart? if that is allowed then theoretically you should be able to drink during a delay if you wanted to.

Yeah pretty much all NC parks you can't drink in so I'm not even used to the concept of having it between rounds. Since 95% of the time here it is against the park rules it is also against tourney rules.

Sounds like a bigger problem than a rules violation

A lot of clubs around here get alcohol permits, so drinking is allowed after/between rounds. And if you mistakenly thought that an alcohol permit had been acquired, that's a mistake of fact defense, not mistake of law, and therefore viable. This is not legal advice. I am not your lawyer.
