New Tee's at LaMa
So this Sunday we are getting new teepads for holes 5&6 on the front with 8,9,12,13,16 to change sometime soon also. They are going to be in different spots except for 13 because its a world famous hole. Im not sure on the placement for 5&6&8 but i know nine will be to the right more throwing in between those two big palm trees. We are thinking of moving 16 up by the gym somewhere to really shake things up. If you guys play here a lot or are part of the LMDGC your input/help is much appreciated.

rad, just make sure someone stabs the slabs a few times with a shovel (especially in the corners) while the cement is still wet... there's a pocket under the front right corner of 6's tee that could end up breaking...
also, how about some texture? |

they're brushed not raked for texture.
i know 13 didn't have the mandy's and i wish it was still like that lol but la county is a uhh lol. the new 6 is an interesting shot. I can get close but haven't found a way to park it in the far corner shot. They just change position 6 to the short for this month though and its an cool shot under a low ceiling. 5 is still a big hyzer or now the slight turnover shot is easier to accomplish. i believe tee's 8 and 9 are next but im pushing for 16 because it starting to get flooded and the darn county is lagging on fixing whatever pipe is causing the flooding.

yeah, they're brushed... lightly...
the new 5 and 6 tee locations are great, 6 really makes you work on dropping in a big hyzer without skipping OB 8's going to be tough to improve, move left and you kill the forehand route and produce another big hyzer hole, move it right and you don't really change the hole much unless you drop it into the turnover/early fade out zone for 7 9 between the palms will be nice, tightening up the spike hyzer route and making the RHFHer's throw more than just a straight shot down the hill 16's a bear of a hole as it is, very few 2s there, i've never deuced it (that fact doesn't prove much), if you move it up by the gym, you're putting all of the gym overflow in play, unless you mandy the fairway around them |

8 will go back and slightly to the left but makes it more open and takes the pine tree by teepad 9 a little more out of the equation if you yank your shot (RHBH). 13 will be the only tee that gets ripped up and replaced because it is a sig hole. but i hope the same happens for 16. 12 will be replaced but idk when or where its going to be moved. hopefully not far because that is a very fun hole as well.
