Morristown Tennessee - 2 new courses
I will be designing two championship level courses in Morristown Tennessee over the next month, with construction and installation ASAP!
Cherokee Park(long and more open - big rolling hills on the lake) and Frank Lorino Park (mixed open and heavy woods, lots of elevation). With this addition to the existing shorter technical course (Morristown Kiwanias DGC) will allow for great disc golf weekends in the hills of Eastern Tennessee. PM if you are in the area and want to see the plans and comment prior to construction. |

Morristown Kiwanis is a fun, wonderfully short and technical course - had a blast playing with Curveball! Hopefully the new course(s) will complement it well. I love when two nearby courses have significantly different "personalities" and allow for very different shots. Really makes for a nice day's discing when you can play rounds at two such complimentary courses.
V.A Barrie and Waterworks in St. Thomas, Ontario are a wonderful example of neighboring courses that complement each other very well - two completely different approaches to the game. Rolling Hills and Ponds at Lakeshore is another great example in my neck o' the woods.

This is my plan from the start of the two designs, and the community leaders hope more day trips will be instore for regional disc golf players. |

Cherokee Park should be complete - 9 tees poured today, baskets arrive May 25 range.
The Rotary DGC will take longer - due to heavy equipment work needed in the woods (scheduled for early June). I will keep the web page for each course up on playability. |

Cherokee Park is playing NOW! All baskets, tees, and sign post installed, fairways mowed and clean, and final signs will be installed next week.
Rotary DGC at Frank Lorino Park is roughed in, so you can follow the new fairways in the woods. This will take another 3-4 weeks of work. |
