Max weight dx are plenty stable. They don't turn into rollers as fast as some are trying to say. And they're $8.

Close but not quite. I would say the cyclone is closer to a Cheetah than a Gazelle.

The Cyclone has more of a bead on the bottom, so my releases aren't as clean as the Gazelle, and I don't find it as good of a wind fighter, either.

That Champ plastic really adds to the Gazelle's natural wind fighting capabilities, and I can use lighter weights (more control) without worrying that it will get tossed about like a rag doll. If there were one disc I wished were in regular production, it would be the Champ Gazelle.

...and the DX Panther, too.

I have a 9x gazelle thats pretty beat. These discs do very similar things for me:


7/10 star teebird.
7/10 esp stalker.
New champ leopard.

The used stuff pops up for sub$8 shipped all the time in marketplace.
