Aden's Bag

Years playing/experience: Almost a year
Right/left-handed/ambidextrous: right-handed
Throwing Style: RHBH
Golf Distance (avg/max*) for putter/mid/driver: Ion: 230/250'; Roc: 280/300'; Teebird: 320/350'

Age: 17
Sex: M
Injuries/handicaps?: stage fright
Other sport proficiencies?: Judo
What do you like/dislike about your current bag?: I like the multiple molds but I'm still learning about fast discs and I feel like there could be over lap
Specific areas of desired feedback: Want to learn a consistent and effective max distance shot I can sometimes throw huge distance but others i toss my teebird father than my PD.
Immediate and long-term goals: I'd like to have more consistency in the short-game, and gain some additional distance in the long-term

Bag:

Drivers (weight/plastic/model/(condition)/use):
135g Bliz Boss, new max distance tail wind
175 C-line PD2 Long skip shot hyzers and heavy wind, very new
165 Star Destroyer, kinda beat hyzer flip flat, main max distance
167 C-line PD, new OS control driver, wind hyzers and huge annyhyzer pan shots
166 S-line PD, new straight control driver, same as C-line but no wind
168 P-line PD, 8/10 hyzer flip flat tail wind and down hill.
174 Z reaper, a slower version of the C-line PD
166 CFR TL, new does anything disc
167 11x teebird. beat but does not hyzer flip. main fairway driver
167 11x teebird. a little less stable than the other 11x
170 DX teebird, Very flippy flip flat finish right and no run up shots

Mids:
175 CFR Gator mad stable and wind fighter
176 GL pain, slightly os mid, FH roller. one of the main mids
175 flat top DX roc, beat in, nice when powered down, anny and shares main mid with pain
E-Element, doesnt come out much but aced with it
S-Mystic, roller/hyzer flip finish right

Putters:
175 Champ Rhyno, OS wind putter
175 proton ion, when i need more stability than magic or tall anyhzers
175 E-magic, dead straight, nice powered down
174 SSS magic, beat hyzer flip finish right wooded shots.
175 Magic main putter.

Any comments would be awesome.

I have a glow KC roc that I wanted to add in and 2 G9 wizards I could. the wizards might replace the ion or rhyno.

Usually I put "disc golf."

Seriously though, I think your bag is pretty strong. I think you could stand to use some kind of slightly understable fairway driver for woods-dodging, like a River or something. Other than that, I think it's a solid setup.

How far do you throw the Destroyer?

Edit: You have a TL. No need for a River!

I love your use of the different PD plastics... Just a good way to go.

Is the Reaper necessary?

I'd say trim the fat, my man.

Also, maybe a TL in star just to break in for more right turning capabilities? I'm not sure how a champ one would handle that.

when the wind picks up the reaper is the only thing that can handle the wind and the dx teebird goes right when i need it to

I would try and cut down on the amount of molds. Having the Ion and Ryno for a stable putter seems a little superfluous to me. I Think some of your high speed drivers could be dropped too though if you regularly out throw them with your teebirds. I do dig sticking with the same mold in different plastics/stage of wear but like what has already been said I would "trim the fat."

Not a bag bag at all. I am more of a minimalist so my critique might be slightly biased ha. You should hit me up sometime to play a round, Being a Knoxvillian myself.

Drivers look like you could go with PD's, TB's and a TL. Mids are all over the place - maybe try the gator and a few Rocs. Throw all magics for a while and see if that works for you

You could try:

Drivers: PD's

Fairway: TB's and TL

Meathook: PD

Mids: Gator, Rocs and ???

Putter: Magics

I want to try and have my mids be rocs one gator and a mystic but my one roc is not stable enough to take out my pain and is not flippy enough to take out my element. Are you saying that my destroyer should go as well?
