Starter bag is the one I have, flimsy yes, but piece of crap? no. I love that bag. Never had any problems with it.

My friend has the starter bag. It isn't too bad. The Standard is pretty nice though.

Some friends bought me a standard bag for my birthday 3 years ago. Been using it since, until I just upgraded to a larger bag on my own dime. No problems with it at all. Still keep it in my trunk for when I want to carry fewer discs for a round.

The OP should contact Innova and ask them to resolve the problem. If you have not done that yet and instead came here to start a thread about it, then you will get the results you deserve. Nothing!

Also, you said when you looked at the bag, before you bought it, it had problems yet you bought it anyway. That part is your fault. No one is perfect including a disc golf company.

And yes, Innova, like all businesses, exist to make money.

Still have my starter bag from about 6 years ago and my dad uses it a lot still. I've had the same innova champion bag for about 5 years now. Your strap broke, not the bag. Innova would replace it, just give em a call or an email.

My starter lasted over a year, almost two. If you take into consideration the price of the bag compared to other bags and then factor in how many years each bag is supposed to get before it truly breaks down, the Innova Starter is on par with everyone else.

The Innova Starter is 15 dollars and is suppose to last one year.

The Revolution Carolina bag I have now is 150 dollars and is supposed to last ten years, or 15 dollars per year.

In the end they come out to the same price assuming I use the Carolina bag for 10 years and do not simply put it aside for a new bag. Now, considering my Innova Starter lasted longer than a year, it will end up being a better deal than my Carolina unless I use that Carolina for 15 or so years.

However, I also use a NutSac for quicker rounds. It runs at 40 dollars, so to get my money's worth I need it to last about 2.5 years. I can tell you that the NutSac is going to last a hell of a lot longer than 2.5 years.

I've had my starter bag and used it off and on for over 3 years, everything is still working fine. You are either hard on your bag or just got a dud

Edit: I've had a standard bag. My mistake. Disregard my comment

I bought one of these bags for the same reasons you did. Mine broke too and I called Innova, somebody answered, I told them about it, and about a week later a new one showed up.

I still wasn't too happy with the product (I use a Fade crunch box now) but the customer service was good. You might want to call them.
