I know I haven't been playing long, but has a disc ever had this much anticipation?

I'd probably say the last disc with this much hype was the jackal? Oddly enough another fairway driver. People are burnt out on warp speeders

I remember the Jackal hype, but I don't remember it being this feverish. We weren't counting down to midnight sales. Reminds me of when we used to wait in line for the newest Guitar Hero game.

Ti plastic was the latest hype...and it was a flop. Blizzard plastic before that and its been a hit. I remember the PD Freak and River getting quite the attention also.
I ordered a heavy GL and a opto metal flake from Volo. I will be happy if they are a stable slightly longer river. I used to have 2 rivers in my bag but they found there way out after a few months. They just couldnt compete with my tb's and stalkers. |

I've looked at over 300 saints. We had ZERO color-shift
Lat64 did not seem to run any, or very few. A good 50% have glitter in them. Just random glitter. That seems to be the hot thing for Lat64 right now Also Lat64 may list it as a speed 9 but that is on their charts. They generally put every disc 1 speed higher than Innova. It's a speed 7-8 tweeter on the Inniva chart. The speed numbers really are arbitrary and have to do more with wing width. The saint is shorter than all my speed 9 Millennium drivers that I throw 450+ |

I took out my 174 Blue Gold Line and 170 clear Opto. Seriously, I would fail a taste-test if they were matched up against TeeBirds. Lines and distance were almost identical. They came out of my hand the same. If there was any difference, it was how they handled low to the ground. The Saints seem to handle ground effect lift better than TeeBirds, stay aloft a little longer than the TeeBirds.
This disc is definitely a winner. The issue I am facing now is that I have already invested so much in different TeeBirds. These Saints will not dominate my bag but could easily stand in without missing a beat. Thanks to these being higher grade plastic than most TeeBirds, I see these not straying far from my bag. |
