Discraft's version of the Boss?
What would that be?

Closest thing is the force, but it's really a better comparison to the Xcal than the boss. Unfortunately discraft doesn't have anything as fast as the boss.

I've yet to throw the boss but someone I play with a lot throws one and it seems like the Force is wayyy more overstable than the Boss. I'll have to throw the boss to evaluate correctly though

Well, this brings up an interesting point. The boss has about the most variation in flight characterstics between brand new discs I've ever seen. Some are VERY overstable like mine, and others are understable. This is one of the reasons I really wish discraft would put out a product that more closely matches the intended flight characteristcs of the boss. My force definitely has a more high speed stability than the my overstable boss, with pretty comparable low speed stability.

This gave me a thought. Someone who knows both Innova and Disccraft discs well should do a side by side match of which discs are the most similar.
I know that would help someone like me who would love to buy some Disccraft in support of those great videos they give me but have only known Innovas ratings. If one doesnt match anything, you dont have to force it to closest but just leave blank. I would love that. |

Slightly off topic, but does anyone else think the Star Boss is way more overstable than the R-Pro? My Star boss only weighs 167, but it's like throwing a brick.

the R-pro bosses I have seen are all understable. A few of my buddies bought them for this very reason, but I strongly prefer the overstable version.

everyone says the closest thing is the force...but from what ive heard, the force was originally designed to be discrafts answer to the destroyer, and personally i feel they are both very similar, at one point i had both in my bag, but soon traded one off because i didnt feel the need for having 3 identical discs...the force might just be a little, i say a little, more overstable
