after a rough first day for my team, they are all having a great second day.

so i made my picks for the event over the weekend and the steady ed league had no ratings cap- i thought that was weird but picked anyway as i don't have any time on wednesdays to deal with it and wanted it over with. of course, some time between then and now they reset everything with a cap leaving me with no picks for that particular league. i presume that the league admin had not set the cap in advance like our competent admin does for the dgcr league...wonderful.



oh yeah... i was in first place of roughly 350 players...

Just another bug that takes away from the fun. I hate to see something like that take you out. I am in 5th right now and check the site almost daily on any week to make sure things are ok. Its a lot more work than it needs to be.

an admin should never open up a league to make picks without first completing the settings for that league

harr, i wouldn't call it a 'bug' since the system is suppose to reset if a crazy admin changes things. seems like that would keep everything on an even playing field. so the system works, but the person running it doesn't.

i've never played a fantasy game and i know very littler about sports. how do other fantasy games work in that respect (when league settings are updated AFTER people have already made picks)?

my advice, if you're not in a league where you can trust your admin NOT to change crap, therefore, resetting your picks, you prob want to do last minute checks.

i wont make those kinds of updates that screw everyone. those people running the other events have been doing things like this over and over. they really aren't paying attention. the dynamic disc guy randomly stopped updating anything. strange people.

Brall . . . I guess a bug isn't the right word, maybe just a procedural thing that needs to be adjusted. I guess it is all on the league director to make sure things are setup apprpriately well in advance.

I noticed the Dynamic thing stop being updated and was doing well in that league also, even though it was another free league I was looking forward to finishing the season.

oh well... not like it cost me anything out of pocket... i would've wound up giving the mini basket away at a tournament anyway. no real reason in my experience to expect competence from DGA anyway... good luck mike.
