Does it offend you to see people guzzling beer while playing disc golf?

The only reason I posted this is because I always see empty beer cans/bottles in certain inconspicuous wooded parts of DG courses. I wouldn't object if they picked up after themselves but that never seems to be the case. Also I've seen some kids that didn't look to be of age and had to still be in high school opening a few cans right out in the open part of a course. I was glad my 7yr old stepdaughter wasn't with me. I just wanted to know what you guys thought.

The beer doesn't bother me but the litter would. That seems like 2 separate issues. Littering is not good for the course no matter what form it takes. I would be bothered if I saw someone stumbling around drunk but having a beer or 2 at the course is not a problem.

Cool Sort of...

As long as people are behaving themselves, not littering, and respecting the course and its users, then they can drink all the beer they want. I do get tired of seeing the randomly placed beer cans / bottles. Some parks do not have nearly enough trash receptacles to eleviate this problem, not a great excuse though.

It depends...

In Ohio, it is illegal to have alcohol in most city and state parks. So I am opposed to it in those cases. If its legal where you are, its totally fine, as long as you clean up after yourself.

The drinking is fine, but everyone should practice carry in/carry out. And what is with the Keystone Light?

are there many people that go out with a flask or bottle of something (hardbooze) other than beer? Carrying around more than a couple of beers seems like it would just be more of a pain than its worth. But if you've got a system (a huge bag and only carry 4 discs ) & u carry in / carry out - that's cool.

I personally like all of my faculties when i'm playing Disc/Ball golf (except in a scramble when you're using a cart and can just swing for the fences and dont care about losing 34584354305 balls)
