Paige is with Devan Owens. McCabe and Liz Lopez were together for a while a few years ago, but split, apparently quite amicably as they still seem to pal around together, while Liz is engaged to Paul Dorries. Catrina Allen and Paul Ulibarri are also engaged, I believe. The whole Discraft/Dynamic Discs nexus out there in KS-OK-TX seems to be quite close-knit.

Val and Nate have been together for some time now. Sarah Stanhope and Aaron Cunningham (99th in MPO at Worlds) just got married earlier this summer.

From a slightly earlier generation, Kevin McCoy and Courtney Peavy McCoy have been married for a few years now and have two young sons (one reason Courtney hasn't been at as many events up until the last year or so).

If you're particularly interested, just friend all of them on Facebook and you'll get the whole scoop in real time -- that's the only reason I know any of this stuff, aside from seeing some or all of them around at events once or twice a year (well, that, and the fact that KMac and Courtney are semi-local and we see Sarah and Aaron down here in the Atlanta area from time to time for tournaments).

I generally agree with you. We always use ball golf as an example of how to set up things for disc golf. Watched the British Open this weekend and saw how many people (spectators, staff, media, fellow golfers) were hanging around the side everywhere, and the big time pro's just play through it. Biscoe's photo from a pro ball golf event pretty much shows you that.

There may have to be a means to clear people out from direct line of sight of the player to the basket, particularly on putts. With the hole being on the ground in ball golf this is something that disc golf may have to deal with. Something akin to having a batter's eye in baseball, an area without any fans in it. Except that spot constantly moved in disc golf, so I guess you just have to shuffle people around.

But otherwise I think they just gotta deal with the crowds.

yes as soon as she was done with worlds she said that she had that this week. she has been talkin bout it here and there for a few months. in the weeks comin up to worlds one of her posts gave the impression of how stressed she was. Happy for her.
