Val and Nate have been together for some time now. Sarah Stanhope and Aaron Cunningham (99th in MPO at Worlds) just got married earlier this summer. From a slightly earlier generation, Kevin McCoy and Courtney Peavy McCoy have been married for a few years now and have two young sons (one reason Courtney hasn't been at as many events up until the last year or so). If you're particularly interested, just friend all of them on Facebook and you'll get the whole scoop in real time -- that's the only reason I know any of this stuff, aside from seeing some or all of them around at events once or twice a year (well, that, and the fact that KMac and Courtney are semi-local and we see Sarah and Aaron down here in the Atlanta area from time to time for tournaments). |

Actually, getting married as I was typing that, if her FB post means what it seems to.

There may have to be a means to clear people out from direct line of sight of the player to the basket, particularly on putts. With the hole being on the ground in ball golf this is something that disc golf may have to deal with. Something akin to having a batter's eye in baseball, an area without any fans in it. Except that spot constantly moved in disc golf, so I guess you just have to shuffle people around. But otherwise I think they just gotta deal with the crowds. |
