Yea I got WP and Zobel at the top cause I know they are in the east. Won't get far enough west to hit Highbridge.

i would highly suggest all of these aside from maybe silver mountain. while you are out at myles kimmerly, set aside some time to check out the sleeping bear dunes. if you have the time id suggest cruising up to leland(the drive alone is worth it) and checking out the old fishtown part of the city and while you are there be sure to get a sandwich at the village cheese shanty. once you are in the traverse city area there is a ton of phenominal eating choices. two of my favorites are firefly which is right in traverse city and pearls which is just outside of traverse city. dont forget to sample some of the great local craft brews while you are in the area also. if you like wine id say pay a visit to the black star farms winery and do some sampling. left foot charlies just a mile or so from hickory is also pretty cool. i could go on and on about the traverse city/leelenau area but it would take a good week to really take it all in. what time of year are you going because that could add some other ideas?

oh, and chateau fontaine in lake leelanau is phenomenal for wine.

Rollin Ridge is right up there with Zobel and Winter Park as the best of the eastern wisco courses, I highly recommend it.

Thanks, great info. My timing is flexible. Primarily looking at whenever the insects are tolerable for camping...hopefully by early to mid-August ?

There is a course just over the bridge in MI in Saint Ignace that is really nice as well. My buddy and I should be playing it saturday if its not raining too bad. Boyne mountain is supposed to be really good as well, I think were going to hit that course on the way back, camp in greyling saturday night and play greyling sunday. But boyne is on the way to st ignace.

Brewpubs in Grand Rapids (Founder's, 2nd best in America from what I understand) and Kalamazoo (Bell's, reasonably priced). I wanted to hit up Founder's after the Flip meet, but was 2 hours early In my defense, I got there at 1PM.
