So after being sick for a month with heavy metal poisoning
I'm finally able to return to Disc Golf any suggestions for shaking off the rust and sickness funk?

I was playing like crap this morning, so I finished up the hole I was on and went back to the car and put the bag away. Pulled out a wizard and the Obex and started a new round with them.
I had wanted to see the new Obex in action, and it made me get back into it. It felt better to not have anything to carry and eliminate my choice of what to throw on each hole. After finishing up that round, felt more into it and went back to the bag and played another round. Felt much better. I think your best bet would be just get out, take it easy and just throw. |

Laying off a month shouldn't affect your game too much. When work gets busy it's often a couple of weeks between my rounds. Just don't take your score too seriously for a while.

Throw in the field a bit to get the muscle memory back. Take a lot of practice putts.

Playing disc golf is the best way to shake off the rustiness of not playing disc golf.
