DiscAlert - never lose a disc again!

How much would you be willing to pay for a small device (1" diameter, <7 grams) that could temporarily and easily attach to your disc and buzz from the time of you throw until you retrieve your disc?

After the throw, you would take it off and store until needed again. No damage or alterations to your disc needed.

$5. Considerably more if it were <1gram.

Yeah really if you think about it, even 10 bucks would be worth it if were talking about using itgo locate pricier discs.

But yeah the lighter the better, a quarter ounce is a big different interms of disc weight..

The Disc Beeper is permanent. If this one is removable and usable on multiple discs, i'd bet you can fetch upwards of 15-20 for it.

I suppose I could see shelling out about the price of a disc for one of these, but the vague description throws me off. I'd like to see this device in action before reserving judgment on how much I would pay.

If it worked, all things considered, it would be nice to have on road trips where your time to search might be more limited than normal, or if you were throwing unfamiliar "top of the world" shots.

I was imagining how great this would be as I was kicking through some leaves for 30 minutes today. Never found my Eagle... It was an ace run too which made it even more frustrating

If this beeping device exists and its light plus easy to use, I'll definitely be picking some up

Discbeeper says the detachable and reattachable disc beeper is coming. I think it will be a set of inexpensive mounts that you permanently attach to each disc, and then the beeper is detachably attachable to the mounts.

I'd still prefer something along the lines of the LED flat lights that are the top seller on DGC right now. Just swap out a beeper for a light. Sold!
