Put a little hyzer on it - it will flip up and not go so far right. All of your discs are either very light or understable, so the flight you are describing is pretty much what they're designed for. The hyzer flip remedies that and allows for straighter flights without buyer new discs.

If you're talking super wooded type tight I'd personally go a little slower, I use an fd or a buzzz.
You can also hyzer flip the valk and get a nice straight shot.
A good rule of thumb when accuracy and placement are critical is slower is better.

I'd try a TL, or maybe a Viking. They should fly on tighter lines than the Valk.

We know 'it's not the arrow, it's the indian' quote. We were referring to your grammar.......

That's what your quote sounded like....

Try some fairway drivers, ditch some of the high speed stuff.
Lots of people here claim they are throwing warp speed drivers 400-430', and while it's true that some are.....many more are not....
Accuracy trumps distance. 300-350' down the fairway is better that 200-400' in the woods.

Sounds like the OP has some OAT in his throw if he's burning these discs on 350' throws with a hyzer release...

Alright, either way, berating is not helpful. If you would have taken three seconds to critically think about his original post (and read in it later he mentions the Valk) then all of the negativity could have been stomped on.

I throw a Ti Buzzz for SUPER straight wooded stuff. I've thrown a Lat 64 Saint a few times too and good lord was it straight. I don't know why I didn't buy one. If you're a lower power player, try a Buzzz SS.

Sometimes it is the Archer (indian) and sometimes it is the Arrow. And sometimes, it's both. The valk is a pretty friendly driver.

If you want to disc up, be careful. What you picked up were two VERY different discs. The mamba, thrown with less power and a crisp snap should be pretty straight for a lower power player. If you get it up to speed though, it's going to turn and very likely won't come back. The Wraith is a bit faster than the Valk, but with less turn and more fade. What you're most likely experiencing with that not coming back is that your Valk caused you to compensate for it with the turn and comparable fade that you're turning the Wraith over. Try and throw it level. Field work!

Oh. And if you like the flight path of your Valk you just want something faster and to get a bit more distance, try a Beast (just slightly faster) or an Archon (two ticks faster).

Try and find a friend with a Saint, though. Or, if you want something that *doesn't have as much over-stability try a Lat 64 Diamond or a Discmania TD. The TD, since it's a bit faster than your Valk, should actually be a bit straighter if you throw it with the same power.

I usually throw my Ions around 750' and have been known to bomb a max weight Teebird on 1022' ace runs. For those of you wondering what that translates to in real footage instead of dgcoursereview footage? I dunno. Probably 200' and 275'.

I really didn't get the Indian vs Arrow reference due to the wording, but I did pick up on the op talking about his Valk... Thus my response about hyzer flipping his Valk.

I think the signs on the course I was on we're a bit off... That valk is going about 325, not 350... I throw new dx tee birds pretty accurately between the 260-290ish range... However my champ teebirdfades a little harder than the dx.

Do different plastics make a big difference on the flight patterns?

Sorry for the newbie questions... I haven't had any real in person help. :/ just lots of rounds figuring it out as best I can on my own.
