Been playing a month and you're throwing 300 feet? Day-UM you throw farther than me! But everyone above brings up excellent, and valid, points. I would slow down your dirve a little to try and work on your form on your own. "Slow is smooth, smooth is fast" and all that.

I have been playing a little longer and still progressing, but I have a DX Wraith that used to always finish to the left and here lately has been turning over on me. After looking at the edge and how gnarled up it is, I think it is a combination of "breaking in" and I am starting to generate a lot more snap which is turning discs over. As you start turning them over, just roll down the outside edge to leave with some hyzer on it and let it flip up and finish like it used to.

Probably oat. It takes a lot of OAT to make a flutter, so you can put a decent bit of OAT into a shot and still not have a flutter.

This video helps show the "smooth is far", which you may find useful

There's something called Off Axis Torque that tends to trouble my throw. Be careful to keep your weight balanced left to right... if you don't you could yank a disc into an anhyzer... And if you're anything like me, they won't come out.

I would have guessed he was adding more torque or wrist roll

When I started out, I had a couple of dx discs that I threw for practically every shot, and after a month they were already so understable that they turned over from a hyzer on throws around just 250'. Playing a lot and throwing the same dx disc over and over into trees will make them understable quick, especially on an already understable disc like the valk.
