That's my avatar!

FYI - the dirt pit in front of the basket is O.B. Decision time, whether to cross it on 2nd throw or lay up. Gut check time when putting back towards it.

I want to say I threw a Wraith on a hyzer to the landing zone and then a putter across the ditch. Chained out my birdie putt.

That's only the second instance I've heard of someone hitting a putt over the "quarry"!

In tournaments, we give a box of beer to the longest putt made on this hole.

Flex shot with a blizzard boss to hopefully put it in that right gap, then approach with a wizard. This is a fantastic finishing hole, the mound and the pit are quite daunting, and it's a tough drive to get to a spot where you have a straightforward approach.

Also, there are new tees here that are further back...at least there were when we played the last tourny here. Leave it up to the sauls to be always improving and tweaking the course.

Anyways I think the perferred shot here is a HIGH anny. You want to land as far UP the 1st fairway as possible to give the easiest shot into the base of the hill. That "clearing" that you are throwing into is the massive downhill right-of-way that makes up the 1st fairway.

1) PPD up high and turning left to right to try to be across 1's fariway and as close to the top of 1's fairway as possible.
2) roc/wizard into base of hill - maybe even landing on it.
3) wizard in while knees are knocking.

IN the last tourny i carded a 3 on this hole, while I also carded a 6...I hit cage and rolled into the ravine.

Teebird from the tee, upshot with a comet or ion most likely. Looks sweet.

Cool hole I'd probably throw a Wraith and then try to figure out what the hell is going on with my upshot.
