wizard

I know there is a million threads with wizard talk that means I have to search a million threads for my answer. I am looking to switch to wizards, I like the feel of the firmer wizards. I was wondering if their are runs of wizards that are just money and sought after or run that are poop and no one likes, etc. Thanks guys!

Dave is not known for sticking to one blend of plastic. He'll switch them up at will. That's why when a player finds a Wizard they like, they try and snatch up a bunch of back-ups from the same run. I've heard that if you happen to find a disc you gel with, Gateway can match it for you if you're willing to mail it to them. I'd say it's a small price to pay to get your very own taylor-made set of putters.

stay away from the wizards with high shoulders. to my knowledge they stopped coming out that way a while ago, but i've seen some trickle through to stores and TFRs.

they are "less stable" than the flatter ones and feel weird in the hand if you're used to the more common low profile wizards. think halfway between standard S and evolution. basically just not very *wizardy*

these are the good ones.

actually get regular glow ones. they are great disc and easy to trade off if you don't like them. and they are firm.

I like Glow Wizards.

They stay pretty consistent run to run so it's easy to replace them.

Plastic is nice 'n grippy.

Gateway has matched putters for me in the past. I prefer SS Wizards that are a bit firm and tacky. Gateway stamped these SS Wizards for me with the Soft logo.(I just like the look better). Great customer service. Give them a call...

I didn't know they did the whole matching thing.. I might have to do that. I have a black ss that's amazing feeling but its black, so I hate using it when it gets 85+ degrees an then gets too soft. A white one would be awesome.
