In the bag of a Swede

Years playing/experience: A little more than 2 years
Right/left-handed/ambidextrous: Ambidextrous
Throwing Style: RHBH, but almost always RHFH upshots
Golf Distance (avg/max*) for putter/mid/driver: Putter: Up to 250'; Buzzz: 250/325'; Surge: 350/450 feet'

Optional:
Age: 24
Sex: M
Injuries/handicaps?: Occasional lower back-problems
Other sport proficiencies?: Floorball, soccer, tennis, table-tennis etc

Specific areas of desired feedback: Do you think anything is missing? Need help finding a straight putter for shorter upshots.
What is your opinion about Challenger/Yeti Pro Aviar?

Immediate and long-term goals: Want to become a better putter, and make more consistent RHBH short upshots. (130 + '). Want to be rated 950+. Long term- want to be rated 1000+.

In my Revolution Dual Pack Lite:

Drivers:
3 174 ESP Nate Doss Surge (1 flippy, 1 half-flippy and one straight)
1 175 Z Surge (a little more stability than the other Surges)
1 166 Star Destroyer (distance)
1 167 Star Destroyer (really flat and overstable, used for forehand or strong winds)

Discs that find their way into the bag from time to time: Z Force (I want it to replace the Destroyer, but it's a little too stable), DD (a little more stable than the Surge's), DD2 (more understable distance throws)

Fairway Drivers:
175 Z Stalker (a little longer Buzzz-shots. Barely used, I throw the Buzzz nearly as far)
167 Star Valkyrie (Super beat, very flippy. Mostly used to get out of trouble)
175 Z Predator (Very overstable. Used for hyzers and shorter forehands. Takes the ground very sharp, almost no skip, safe shots.)

Mids:
3x 172-179 Z Buzzz (one straight, one understable and one stable)
1 177 FLX Drone (mostly forehand)

I sometimes put the Hornet in the bag for straighter forehandshots. Been thinking about a Wasp for Buzzz-shots with a little more fade, that holds up better in the wind.

Putters:
1 168 Star Rhyno (one of my first discs, still stable, never turns over. If I put some arm into it, it will fly straight with no fade.)
1 175 ESP Zone (mostly forehand)
2 EZE Spike (is probably going out of the bag, the plastic is beat silly after three or four tree-hits. Wanted them to be for straight, shorter shots without fade, but they've turned flippy.)
1 175 Yeti Pro Aviar (shorter anhyzer forehands to get out of trouble)

I've been putting with the Yeti Pro for over a year, but have just recently started to really like the Soft Challengers.
I love the feel of the Challenger, and I hope the fade is gonna make me miss less to the right and the lack of a bead (or what do you call it? The elevation on the upside of the disc) on the Yeti Pro will help me not "get stuck" in it.

How much did it hurt to call it soccer? (played my whole life)

I'm on my way out the door for a poker game, I'd be happy to give some feedback when I get home though - felt obligated to mention the soccer thing lol. Glad to see someone throwing the Surge! It was my weapon of choice for 4+ years. Cheers!

it's interesting you don't really throw any Swedish plastic, is there a reason for that? do you just prefer american discs?

for a short & straight approach disc, i'd recommend a dart. personally i use an anode which is a solid option as well.

Definitely replace all that Innojunka, and Discrap with more Latitude and Westside! Far superior plastics!

There's no special reason for that. Always liked Lat 64, but one day I realized that I had sold all my Lat-drivers, because I didn't use them. The only thing I have now is some Spikes and Pures.

Yeah, Dart is a nice disc, great suggestion! The first putter I bought was a Star Dart, maybe I should order a new one...

Haha, felt kinda weird but it's okay

Great, I'm waiting for your wisdom!

Like I said, I do like the Scandinavian plastic, but it seems like (mostly) Discraft discs is doing the trick for me.
I love the Warship and the Northman, really nice discs!

The Bird Man: Well, I do have the Spike in there.. for now But the EZE Line is beating up way to fast imo. I hope they make the Spike in Optoline or Goldline, I would buy it right away.

I love the River.. You should check that out my friend.. MVP has some great discs too. (I didn't look at your bag much but I'm just offering up what I like along with many others).

I threw the River a lot when I started playing. Right now, two of my Surge's are understable enough to make the River needless. Really nice disc though.
Haven't tried much of MVP, bought a Vector when they came out, but never really came to like it.
Would the Ion or the Anode be a good choice for short and straight upshots? Or shorter anhyzers
