Disc Golf Poetry

I liked someone elses "Ode to their first driver" So I thought it would be fun to see some Disc Golf Poetry. Here's my attempt...

A cool breeze,
I toss some grass,
It flows to the left,
So I set my path.

I step to the box,
I imagine the toss,
A twist of my wrist,
Should I use Beast or Boss?

Finally My mind made up,
I get my fingers set,
Two then three steps,
Out of my hand like a jet.

It flies over to the left,
then fades over at the end,
a flight like I saw in my mind,
WHith my arm did I send.

Nothing feels better,
than a great smooth throw,
with the right motions,
You let your whole body flow.

This is a haiku poem, or something, I think?!...

Chains from tee I see
Teebird flies around a tree
Under basket lands.

Nice one Nova. I haven't written a poem since high school but what the hell, I'll give it a go.

Ok, I think it would help if you could picture Hole 9 at Pease Park in your mind. Oh wait, you don't have to cause this site rocks.

As I step up to the tee
an odd feeling occurs in me.

I've thrown this hole a thousand times
but the wind today blows my mind.

It's blowing twenty-five to thirty
in every which direction, oh such the worry.

Will I catch a gust that sets me asail
or will the disc crash down in a miserable fail?

The release is clean as it powers from my hand
but the wind turns it over across the land.

Over the shear cliff it flies
and into the murky creek it lies.

But on this day a lesson I did learn
never throw a Sidewinder and not expect it to turn.

I feel I should bring this back to life so I don't get prerubed when I try and start a new one.

Anyway.

throw your discs a dime a dozen, when your hot and when your frozen. take the reigns and bang the chains, kick some butt and take some names. Fly away my round flat friend, make good time no time to lend. God speed your flight, and bless your line. Find your lye and we'll do fine.

Puttgina Monologues

I take pride in my putting.
I'm usually pretty hot!!!

From 40ft in...
Miss? I think not!!!

All day at Z-Boaz, with all my might, crashing chain!!!
They kept spitting out --(buds yell) "It should have been in, that's so lame!!!"

As I finish the day at +7, swallowing pride.
I've gotta fix something... GOD DAMN that "noob side"
