My brother took pictures of this course when he did his training trip a few days ago. It's an object course on the university of Hawaii...nothing spectacular by any means.

Me and a few other military guys have set up a pretty sweet temp course on Hickam AirForce base at Pearl Harbor. We have 18+ holes and play on Saturdays. Search for Fort Kamehameha DGC in the course search area. My contact info is there. I listed the course as permanent so people could find it easier. I plan on taking more pictures next time out.

^ Yeah David, I WILL be there in July to play DG w/ you on that temp course. Looking forward to it! Also hope to play the obstacle mountain course when the locals do on Fridays above UH. Good times!

The 8 hole course is just a pitch and putt but does make for a nice distraction from lounging on the beach and can be made more challenging if you play safari golf as long as the park is empty. The Kahului course was a better challenge for sure. Unfortunately I didn't have a guide and was using an outdated map so navigation was tough for the back 9. It's a nice 18 hole option if you don't have time to drive up the mountain, but it's not a destination course. Looks like it's early days still and improvements are being made, and trowing discs in Maui is great so... The Poli Poli course though is worth the effort to get to. Didn't have a guide this time and managed to navigate the 18 holes I know about well enough. Fun times in a beautiful setting and plenty of challenge with uphill/downhill, gullies, trees and risk/reward pin placement. Course is well looked after and a must play if you're on the island. Took some pictures of all 3 that I'll try and upload soon. Just have to re-size them first. |

I want one on the North Coast of Kauai since I love to Vacation there, but it seems there aren't any, at least any that the public knows about.
I kept throwing a putter outside the Dolphin in Hanalei while I was waiting for lunch or for my wife to buy fish, and it ended up in reeds by the Hanalei river. Probably exactly why there are no Disc Golf courses in Kauai :P |

^ Yeah, that is the one island that would be perfect! The garden island...how could you go wrong. Kepp updating the courses everyone! Nice work.
