Stable/OS Fairways

Since I got my river, it has all but kicked my stalker out of the bag. It holds the same lines as my stalker but with more accuracy and distance. However, i have nothing to fight the wind or play a dogleg left hole, in the. 325/350 range. What overstable (yet not predator overstable) fairways are out there that could help fit this slot? I was leaning towards a shock or a tracker, but Any help is appreciated.

A shock or a tracker would word well I think. You could also try a Teebird in champ or star plastic, quite stable. Or a S-PD or... yeah, they are many choices. I'm sure you will love whichever you choose to take.

Teebird, Rival, Eagle, or Ascent should get you started. Teebird or Rival would be my recommendation.

Banshee has been great for me. If that is too much for you, a max weight champ eagle should do it. The banshee isn't as stable out of the box as a pred and beats in better.

I was also going to say Teebird. The Champs are the most OS from what I gather. I have a Star and love it as a straight shooter with moderate fade.

I'd say banshee, super reliable fade and Overstable enough to fight the wind.

Peeeeeedeeeeeee.

Seriously. It is a faster fairway though. The numbers say speed 10 but the wing is a firebird wing, speed 9. So I'm not sure where it really ends up. I don't use anything else for fairways. Just PD in different plastic. SPD or cpd will have zero turn and still have good fade even at 360', even farther. Powers down well without turning into a meat hook. Hell even a PPD still comes back at longer distances. 300' might be tough to range though.

Edit: take that back. Before I lost my cpd I threw it on 260' foot holes in some headwinds.
