Farina Headrick.....

As we all know, behind every sucessful man is a woman rolling her eyes, Jk.
Why no tournaments in her name? I believe she is alive and well, and running the DGA. Maybe the PDGA could honor her work all these years by at least naming a tourney after her? Or is there one already,I dont know about?

I did a search on the PDGA site and nothing about her came up. The search feature doesnt work for me here on DGCR. Sorry if there is already thread about her.

She was honored at the opening of the Hall of Fame at the IDGC and symbolically threw a Steady Ed disc onto the roof of the building.

Someone should extensively interview her to find out funny parts and dramatic parts of his life the public does not know about so one day there can be a Steady Ed biographical movie

The world is not ready for this movie and it could be 15 years until it is. Best to get all the anecdotes we can now.

We invited Farina out to one of our Wisco events a few years ago; and flew her out (I believe). I happened to win a DGA basket in the raffle and it was presented to me by Farina. I had met her before, with Ed. Super lady.

I remember her from this video about his memorial discs:

Some people may find it amusing that PDGA #69 belongs to Gary Headrick.
